We operate a self check in from 3pm on the day of your arrival, check out time must be by 11am.

Bookings made through our website are to be paid in full via PayPal.

Cancellation policy: 60 days and over 75% refund, 30 to 59 days 50% refund, 1 to 29 days no refund.

We have a septic tank absolutely NO wipes, sanitary, waste, nappies, cloths etc are to be flushed down the toilet.

Included is our welcome pack with complementary tea, coffee, sugar and milk. Tea towel, dishcloth, washing up liquid and toilet roll. Please note we are a self catering facility and whilst we provide complimentary items (toilet roll, washing up liquid, milk tea, coffee etc) this may not be sufficient for your entire stay so please make sure you bring these items with you.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the pods, ashtrays are provided on each picnic table, please use them.

Children must be supervised at all times, please remember we are a rural site surrounded by farmers fields which at times will have dangerous machinery in. Your children are your responsibility please keep them out of the fields, climbing of trees is not allowed. Permitted play area is directly opposite the pods. We do not allow any inflatables including paddling pools.

Any one displaying anti social behaviour will be asked to leave the site immediately with no refund given.

The trampoline is strictly for private use only.

We do not allow any pets on our site. 

No visitors are allowed on site without the owners permission.

When making a booking you agree that you or at least one member of your party is eighteen years or over.

The number of guests in each Pod must be confirmed at time of booking.  You are not permitted to have more than two adults, two children per pod. One infant aged 2 years and under are not counted in the maximum occupancy.

We are NOT a site if you want to ‘party’ – Viking Garth Hideaways is a peaceful, rural location. We operate a small scale quiet, relaxed and laid back campsite, we ask that campers please respect fellow campers and our local neighbours. 

There is a LOW NOISE POLICY from 11pm around the pods.

No cars are to be taken past the welcome bears or parked on the grass please use the allocated space in the car park.

Please drive slowly down the gravel path speed limit on site is 5mph.

Please note any damage to site facilities or to a pod must be reported immediately, if you do not extra charges will apply. If a pod is left in an unsatisfactory state a £50 cleaning charge will be applied.

Any items left behind in a pod must be claimed within two weeks of departure. If relevant, postage and packing charges for the return of goods will apply.

Please ensure you leave your pod as you found it in a clean and tidy state, all crockery to be washed and put away, bins to be emptied, please put bin bags in green bin and bottles, cans, plastic into the cream tub both of these are located next to the welcome bears.

No littering.

Chinese lanterns/fireworks are strictly forbidden.

We regret that in the event of a guest leaving early for any reason, NO REFUNDS will be given. May we remind you that your booking is a legally binding contract and in the event of cancellation or curtailment, no refund is given. This also applies to adverse weather conditions, over which we have no control. Therefore if you choose to cancel your booking due to weather, no refunds will be offered.

Whilst we will do everything we can to ensure you have a great stay, Viking Garth Hideaways can accept no liability for theft, loss, injury or damage to yourself or your property or any member of your part during or as a result of a stay on our site.
